Hi Vicky. Just a note of encouragement to you. I was diagnosed with papillary and follicular adenocarcinoma in March, 1981. I was 34 years old at the time. I had a total thyroidectomy. On scan after the surgery, it showed that my cancer had metastasized to my lymph glands and was also in the tissues of my neck right next to my vocal cords. They gave me aggressive RAI, and now it is 30 years later and I am still around and even kicking some. Keep a positive attitude and you will get through this. Am praying for a complete recovery for you as well.
Happy Birthday, Vicky. I hope you had a great day today.
I love you too James!
Bless you Vicky! I’d love to do my own rescue, but sometimes it just gets to be too much seeing all the ones that need help. Helping out with a group works better for me since I can do it when I feel strong enough to face it. It just breaks my heart sometime to hear the stories or see some of the abuse that these babies endure. I can handle human suffering a lot better than I can animal suffering.
I’ll be thinking about you on Tuesday. Let us know how your appointment goes.
Dennis
Love You
