As much as possible!

See above!!!!!!!!!

The impact it has had on so many aspects of my life, good and bad, other than just my health.

It sucks.

Just keep being as good of a friend as you were before I was diagnosed. Otay?

Keeping my regular wierd and twisted sense of humor about it all (laughter is a great medicine) and keeping an open mind to all alternative, natural and other treatmeant types I can find, All hints, tips or tricks are appreciated.

Was fortunate that I had no negative side effects from the chemo. But those 3rd degree burns from the radiation has to rank right up there with the most miserable times of my life.

No

Stay positive, keep your sense of humor about you regardless of how bad things may be at the time, take life one day at a time and appreciate every day when you get up.

Texas Jeff's Profile Page

Cancer Symptoms

One big ole very leaky external tumor between my butt cheeks.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects

None was required.

Radiation or Proton Therapy Description, Dates & Side Effects

3rd degree burns on my butt and pubic area.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects

June 28 – July 4. A single 1 hour mitomycin pump followed by 4 24/7 fluorouracil pump. I like to think that I got extremely lucky with side effects. I was seriously constipated the first 4 days and put on 8 pounds in the first 48 hours. The only other side effect to this point is incredibly red blotchy skin on the face, neck and chest. I can only hope that round 2 goes as smoothly.

July 27 – August 1. Intended to be the same as week 1. The mitomycin was put on hold until my platelet levels got back to normal, but we got it done. 4 bags of fluorouracil. Again, I was extremely lucky with side effects. None to speak of really and this time I didn’t get the red blotchy skin on the face, neck and chest.
