Biography

I live in San Pedro, CA. It’s on the Pacific coast about 35 miles from Los Angeles. I have a great life! I’ve been married to Bob,the most wonderful man in the world, for 32 years. We have one son, Chris, and two grandsons. Matthew is 11 and Gabriel is 7.

I am a second grade teacher in Torrance, CA. I’m one of those fortunate people who get to wake up every morning and look forward to going to work. There’s nothing better than spending the day with a room filled with second-graders. They are so precious.

I never in a million years thought I’d have my own cancer blog, but here it is. It still hasn’t hit me. Just give me a few more days. It’ll sink in.
