User InformationBiographyMy name is Bob and I was diagnosed with CML (chronic myeloid leukemia) on October 25, 2006. I am being treated with Gleevec and am adjusting to many changes. Cancer SymptomsFatigue, bone pain, hemmorage, nausea, diahrrea. Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side EffectsI’ve been on Gleevec for 3 weeks. the first week was no different than the previous ones, lots of fatigue, but that is from the leukemia. In the second week, I started having more pain and some diahrrea. The diahrrea cleared up in a few days but the pains got worse. By week three, I have a lot of bone pain. I can get around and i can work, but it hurts quite a bit to move and my legs (thighs) are the worst. I often wake up with pain and my fatigue is not improving. |
