Biography

I am a New York City native, although my folks fled the city and raised us a block form the ocean on the NJ shore. As an adult I have lived in NYC, Boston, Chicago and now Washington, DC.

I spent the 1970’s and early 80’s entrenched in every leftist progressive movement that passed through middle America. Anti-war, ZPG, Abortion Rights, Feminism, Gay Rights. You name it, I would have written the agenda.

Now I am a bourgouise middle aged woman, with a wife, a mortgage, two cats (and a yard). Ah, the simple joys of (Canadian) married-hood.

I have spent my career in the non-profit sector, as a teacher, social worker and now as a medical meeting planner. In my “real life” I am a pastry chef with a life long love of classical music and jazz.

Yes, I agree with you but this poor woman was not doing what made her feel more comfortable. I guess it took the small push or advice from Dr. Phil and The Doctors to get her to realize that she needed to do what would make her comfortable.
