Cancer SymptomsI began passing blood in my urine. That’ll scare the daylights outta ya. Surgery Description, Dates & Side EffectsWent in for a biopsy, stayed for the removal, never looked back. God is good! Now every 6 months I get scoped. After the last check up Doc says every 12 for a scope every 6 for a pee test. Boy am I gonna miss getting scoped. The thing looks like a straw and feels like a sewer line. Comments: |
Hey dear friend Mac,
Since I missed you last year as you rolled through St. Louis I’ve kicked myself more than once. We could have enjoyed ourselves.
I am trying to see if there is the option at all with everyone’s treatment schedule, obligations, etc., to see the possibility of us have a big ole meet up at a place that would be in an area that as many members as possible would be interested in participating. I’m sure when contacting hotels and telling the nature of our group, I can betcha we can get a good rate. ALso, I have had wonderful experienced with SW airlines when they sent me a voucher for $500.00 for me & my daughter to make one last trip to The Gulf of Mexico. They are a big hearted company despite any negative press they have received lately. I will glady call hotels if this gets off the ground where at least a place is decided upon. And, it would be missing a huge part of our BFAC if you weren’t there. Please let me know your thoughts if you think it is a possibility, where do you think would be the best area, and when would be a good time. Big Order, Huh? Keep me posted. I think this would be a very rewarding experience for all of us. Be Well, Patty
Hey Big Mac,
Been thinking an awful lot about you lately and wondering how you are doing.
I hope you’re kicking butt and taking names.
My thoughts and hugs are always with you.
Jill
Hi Mac, It was so wonderful to get our comment and really surprising when you said Indianapolis. I have lived in Noblesville, IN for 47 years until my husbands job moved us to Memphis. Yeah driving that fast in Indy probably wouldn’t be for me. I’m just thankful to make it home safe after driving in Memphis, LOL! Thank you again for your encouraging words and God Bless!
Mac,
Aside from you wanting me to help get you out of speeding tickets, and thereby making me feel VERY wanted and useful, you truly make my heart smile. You always say the kindest things and I so appreciate you taking the time to reach into my life – especially in the midst of your own battle.
Thank you, fellow Viking.
I wish you well.
Jill
~~~~~~~What an odd concept…needing drugs to find a doughnut appealing. I am so happy to hear that something, anything has enabled you to enjoy one of the most noble of food stuffs. The DOUGHNUT. Just the name makes me shudder. In twenty four years of wedded bliss I have only considered one affair and that was with the sultry Dolly Madison (vixen tramp)
I am elated to hear you are doing so well. Hug all those dear to you and remember how very loved you are.
Mac~~~~~~
Mac you make me laugh. I sure my husband and son would completely agree with you about the doughnuts, they’ve not ever needed any persuasion either.
Just had to tell you how special you are and how very much I’ve appreciated you continued support. The love and prayers have been so uplifting and comforting. Beyond anything I’ve experienced in this life.
I always keep you in my thoughts.
Be well and be happy.
Love and hugs, Cheryl~~~~
Hey Mac,
You can drop my name if you happen to get pulled over while speeding through California, but I can’t guarantee anything. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they yanked you out of the car, tased you, and hauled you off to the clinker!
:)
Be well.
Jill
Mac,
Thank you for your wonderfully supportive comments, for your faith, for you caring, and for taking the time to embrace my family and me through this journey.
Your words echoed deep inside my mom and I can’t tell you how touched she was at what you said.
We are all warriors in this very strange battle and we will all make it through.
Thank you for lifting all of us up.
Thank you for choosing life.
Be well.
Jill
thx for comment, mac. yea there’s always the little indignities that go with the big one, but sometimes (even in awful battles) you have to stop and snicker.
Mac—
I think I better go buy a new pair of sneaks before I take off for the Hoosier state! :)
Ahhhh the Lamprey River. We certainly have had the rain for it! River is nice and high! Thanks for the comment. I so know God is good! You are also so right about the experience of the ones who have been there is so important. Thanks for the smile!
Hi Mac Just wanted to let you know I was thinking
about you and your family and I keep you in my thoughts each day,
Just thinking about you with the wind in your hair. Stay well and happy.
Hey handsome!
How are you?
Just thought I’d send a comment your way and say that I/we have been thinking about you. We are getting in some quality family time reminiscing about Daddy Lane so there is a lot of love being generated as we watch his grandchildren run around and go balistic. We are sending some Lane Love your way because you are RigidRidr the MAC of all Mac’s!
With LovE!
hai Mr. Mac
i hope everything is going fine to you too…
Thanks Mac for the compliment on my picture. That is my new husband and we just got married on Sept. 13, 2008. Thanks for your support. I hope all keeps going well for you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Nancy
Thanks Mac,
For stopping by and letting Adam know how much you care. He does come by and check this site often. He is reluctant to go to Celenis much because of the pictures. His heart is still tender. Although he loves Celeni very much because she was such a part of his dads life he just cant visit much. He emails her and she emails him too. No one knows how thankful I am Wesley had her in his life. I call her Wes’s angel. Even though I am the old X wife I still felt a hurtful loss. Thanks so much for your care and love you all gave to Celeni, Wes and his son Adam.
Blessing to you.
Robin
Dear Mac,
Yes, I’m a Massachusetts girl! I live in beautiful western Massachusetts, where the tulips are blooming, the pea shoots have sprouted, and the bird who has nested outside my front door is about to hatch her little ones. If you’re ever in MA again, let me know. As you know, it’s a small state, so it’s never a long drive to get to someone you’d like to give a big hug to!
Peace,
Kathy
mac, honey you tell me your gonna be here for Sunday dinner and I will make sure you have directions and a phone number to call..our prayers are with ya
You use to live in Methuen. Cool. That is close to my last name. Midthun. Pronounced similar. Never knew of that town. Might have to go check it out. ;-)
Mac—
Yes, I should have been in church! Just couldn’t get up early enough for that 10-hour drive to get there! Thanks for the positive thoughts and prayers for good news on Tuesday.
Martha
