Yes I am done for two months now with treatment. During treatment i was advised as well NO fresh fruits or salads..but chemo made me crave citrus. and pasta! I didnt really lose any weight..maybe 12 lbs.i was 248! I am 250 now…anyhooey. I had to lay on my stomach with external beams….somehow i think it caused the nodes in groin/pelvic area to stay positive. ( had to lay on stomache cause intestines blocking other infected nodes) hmm go figure. I of course hope and pray and beg God its just enlarged from radiation ( slight possibility)however…I am preparing for worst, :( I have small child i am single ma..i have no means of support and i am basically leaving him with my friend and her 3 kids….he most comfy there and she said yes. Ahhh yes cancer took a lot from me. Hope, happiness, peace, funds, and over all outlook. As we all go through these emotions..I know. I pray fro us all. I am going to say specail prayer again today fro all of us in world with this disease…the small children with lukemia….the new mom who just found a lump on her breast….all of US! Yeah soo I live on long island…Hampton Bays….I was a blue collar worker…cleaning and maintaining pools..house cleaning. I have started leaking now…...clear ordorless fluid..sometimes urine…(poor bladder) and other day i had some yellowish discharge with it but..havent since. I went to ER they took cultures and they were negative for any infection. Ok….some dull dull lower back ache AGAIN. Also WOW diareah. I was told by others they too had “leakage” and diareah for quite sometime after treatments…..so here i am trying to gather a couple few bucks and get out to California with my son…San Diego Zoo n stuff I always wanted to go. Thats me. Thank you for your supporting comments I greatly appreciate them.
