Thanks for the hug :) Hope you’re having some sunshine too!

Hi, and thanks for the support! I’m a stageIV colon cancer fighter since Dec 2010. Still trying to get my profile done so I can blog, I forgot to hit “save” and lost a lot of what I had done, LOL. Blame it on chemo brain I guess??! Hope you’re doing well this week and sending you all the best. :) Kathy

Noelrico-hello:
How r u feeling this week? I am a stage IV rookie too! I am on 4th infusion of oxalyplatin, xeloda, 5FU, leuvacorin, and have lung mets, and tumor on liver. My case goes to surgeon’s this or next week.
Sharing is good, making connections we all feel alone and scared. This treatment makes us deal w/emotions we weren’t aware we had, as well as dealing w/everyday life issues.
If u go to the American Cancer Society’s website they have positive 4tage IV blogs, too.
It has helped me understand my diagnosis and whattreatments are out there.
Stay strong and I hope to hear back from u.
I attend 2 support groups to cope. Don’t wait to find a group and support. We all know how u feel.
Keeping u in my prayers and thoughts-Barb

Thank you No;

Thank you for your thoughtfulness on this issue.

It is much appreciated. I see you do not believe much in anti-depressants either. Personally I have never seen them do much good for myself.

This is a start, sharing it with my fellow BFAC’s ,
a beginning for sharing some dialog on this subject, for myself and others.

Love Barb

Hi Noelrico;

Hi! I see that you are fairly new on this site..welcome. Thanks for your support, and right back at you. I used to live in Colorado, for several years, now I am back to my home Alberta.

I am so sorry you are in stage four, I am also.
The cancer has spread to three other places in my body, pancreas, lungs (both), and kidney. Pallative chemo is the only thing available for me, and I said no, especially if it was only going to extend my life for another 3 months or so..hanging over the toilet, and being extremely nauseous.

I look forward to reading your posts.

Love Barb
