Biography

Hi, I am 28 years old and August 23, 2007 my life changed forever. My mother, age 56, was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. She has a tumor in her liver and lesions in her lungs. Her first rounds of chemo did not work and left her in the hospital. She is currently on 5-FU and Oxiplatin every other week. She takes a bottle home for two days as well. The battle is tough but we are trying to keep positive. I will be getting married in three months and cannot even believe the thoughts that are rushing through my mind every minute of the day. I just never thought this would happen to us… I guess that is pretty selfish and silly…
