Biography

Diagnosed in February 2009 by accident. Went to see the gastroenterologist to set up a preventive colonoscopy. His routine exam of my abdomen found organs out of position causing him to order a ct scan, this suggested lymphoma, a subsequent biopsy confirmed it.

night sweats, back pain, fever, weight loss

At the time of diagnosis I didn’t realize these were symptoms, didn’t consider the important.

lymph node removal for biopsy (2) bone marrow biopsy, installation of a port a cath.

Radiation or Proton Therapy Description, Dates & Side Effects

not part of treatment

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects

R-Chop, eight sessions
one every 3 or 4 weeks,
side effects, nausea, loss of appetite, some muscle aches

Mike, it really sounds like you have done real well. Gosh I have had only one treatment, without Rituxon, and I have all sorts of stuff going on…my fingers are tingling, my stomach seems to hut, bones ache, and like a strung out feeling..well thats the stress of it all I guess?? oH yeah, and my hair is starting to go…:(

Hi Mike, I noticed yo are a supporter for me? Im new here, so Im not too sure I understand what that is, but Ill take it haha..Wow you had the same as me. I can see there are a lot of people out there with this, in a way it makes me feel not so alone.
