Help me feel not so alone


My husband has lost 45 pounds in about 2 months. The tumors in his liver are consuming all the calories he takes in. He is extremely fatigued and often is nasuated.


My husband has his C-4 removed, replaced and C-3, 4 and 5 fused March 16. Recently, he has 2 femoral angiograms to insert the radioactive beads.


My husband had radiation at the site of his neck surgery.


My husband was on a trial for a new chamo for renal cancer called “Sutent”. He made no progess and instead suffered significant side effects that we believe plunged him into a spiral of ever increasing side effects of his cancer.

Biography

My husband was diagnosed with renal cancer in March of 2007. He’s going through surgery, chemo, and most recently, a prodecure involving radiactive beads in his liver due to tremendous growth there. I am his wife of 16 years. We are best freinds and true soul mates. He loves my three sons from a previous marriage and we truly made a wonderful life together. We were looking forward to the things you do when the kids fly the koop: travaling, gardening, more home improvements. But I don’t think we see much of that. Instead, I am trying to care for him in the most tender and honest ways. I feel blessed to be able to do this, and even more blessed to have the famiy and friends that we do who all love and support us so much.

Cancer Symptoms
