Biography

I am a 37 year old female from Northeast Ohio. Happy married to Ron for over 14 years, we have 2 furbabies, Shannon and Annie. Our senior canine girls bring much joy to our lives. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer on October 24th, 2007. I am awaiting surgery on January 8th, 2008 for a partial or total right nephrectomy and liver biopsy. Presently, as of November 20th, 2007, my renal mass was 2.2cm, intraparenchymal, partially exophytic and sitting atop the renal vein and renal artery in the mid-kidney. I also have numerous liver lesions, the most measurable is 1.3cm.

It has been a rough 8 weeks. I have no money to pay for medical care, no health insurance and am not eligible for Medicaid at this time. This has made getting medical treatment a bit tricky. I am blessed to now have a surgeon willing to treat me.
