Kim—
Now that you are done with tx, I am hoping that you are getting some good rest and nutrition to help your body heal. It will take a little time, so be patient with yourself, but soon you will be feeling so much better. Please update us on your status when you can. Still thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.

Hugs—
Martha

Kim—
If my calculations are right, you are down to the last tx on Monday! I know you will be SO glad to have this over with. Since you got good news this week, that should give you that little push to get in that last zap. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you. I hope you will have a restful weekend and be ready for Monday when you graduate. The post-tx phase has its challenges, but the physical pain will subside quickly. So, keep your head up and no looking back—that finish line is just one step away! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Kim—
I thought about you all day yesterday and wondered how your doctor’s exam went. I really hope and pray the news was good and you do not have to have any additional tx’s. Just wanted you to know I have been thinking of you.

Hang in there, sister of mine. This pain will end, sooner or later, but keep up with the meds and let them do their stuff.

Love you.

Hey Kim I am so sorry you are having such a tough time with the burnt skin. They make a topical lidocaine gel get ask your doc about that. At least may’be you can numb it. I have no suggestions for your burns so far the SSD is working for me. I goop it on thick and put on cotten panties to keep it put. Feels kinda funky but it works for me. I soak in a tub with epsom salts and that seems to ease the burning and swelling if you have not tried it give it a go. Know that you are in my prayers daily I think about you often! Just remember only a few more days to go girl. Hang in there you can do it and I pray this round kicks that cancers ass

Love and Hugs

Hi Kim—
I have thought of you so many times in the past week and am hoping that you are feeling better. I know times are tough right now, but it will get so much better quickly once your tx’s are finished. Please hang in there! I just wanted to wish you a good and restful weekend and let you know I’m thinking of you. Take care.

Hi Kim,
I’m new to your blog but just wanted to say it sounds like you are doing. You only have a short time left to go and then you are in recovery mode….You will do great as we all do. We seem to be a pretty fisty bunch us anal cancer patients. I am almost 3 years out and I feel better than I ever did before in my life…happier and freer in body and spirit. You will too….but it takes determination, patience, some tears and a relentless spirit. Kind of exciting realy!

Hi Kim—
It’s just me, wishing you a good weekend. I know this is a tough time, but hang in there! You are going to get through this, I just know it! Soon you will be in recovery mode and will feel better day by day. Please know that you remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Kim—
I just wanted to say hi and wish you a good weekend. I hope you are tolerating the tx’s well so far and that it continues that way. Get some rest this weekend and be good to yourself! You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Kim,

Glad to hear you got through your first treatment. What kind of side effects did you have. We’ll have to keep each other posted since we are only a week apart in treatment. I know I have the 2 tumors he is zapping one in the anal canal and one on the outside of my rectum, but also he showed me several lymph nodes nearby that he is also zapping. No cancer involvement in those but he says to kill them just in case there are any stray cells hiding there that didn’t not jump out on the scans. Works for me zap away whatever you need to just save that bowel! I think about you often since we are pretty much starting this together. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers everyday. WE WILL beat this thing! Keep me posted. And know that I am here for you always.

Love ya!
