I’m 23 years old, and after twelve years without so much as a stomach flu, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer! Happy Halloween!
Still working on the good attitude part. Does black humor count?

(Temporary) shortness of breath, back pain, abdominal pain, loss of appetite

Medi-port placement, Oct 13 2009. Still healing. Nicely, I suppose. I keep eying it suspiciously because I can’t get even earrings put in and this thing is a lot bigger than earrings.

None yet, though I get some if chemo doesn’t kick it.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects

R-CHOP, (I know it as “rituxin” “the red stuff,” “the clear stuff,” and “the god damn prednisone pills”—lazy, I know) started Oct 15, 2009. So far just a bit of fatigue, crankiness, and I think my body fluids may be like dinosaur acid right now. Also I hate taking my pills but have to do it because of, um, you know, long term survival and all that.
