Biography

I am 20, aspiring to be so much more than I am ready to handle; and I believe that cancer doesn’t take and not give back.

I am a better person, but I cannot wait to escape this routine.

Writer of a self help book for young women
A young woman who hears once in her life from someone’s lips “You are the strongest woman I know” and it be 100% truthful.

18 years – First diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in December 06
20 years – Reoccurred in April 08

Cancer Symptoms

Electrolytes plummeted which caused -> no appetite, night sweats/fever, dizziness, headaches, inability to walk, fatigue.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects

10 inch incision on lower stomach. The doctors found a 22cm tumor surrounding my right ovary, removed it cleanly along with my appendix and right fallopian tube.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects

Nausea, fatigue/sleepiness, “Chemo brain” (inability to concentrate), dry skin, no nail growth, hair loss.

January – May as of now
