painless large mass located on upper right thigh

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects:

May 2010 – Initial surgery; Aug 2010 – re-resectional surgery
Aug 2010 – Limb sparing surgery or limb-salvage surgery. Basically involves removal of soft tissue while also working to save the limb and not have to amputate. Alot of physical therapy after. Still experience pain and days are hard sometimes when my leg really is hurting.

Radiation or Proton Therapy Description, Dates & Side Effects:

5 weeks of radiation – feeling tired and extremely fatigued after the sessions were over, radiation burns on back on leg that developed into very painful blisters

You are the only other person I have found that has had a pleomorphic sarcoma In their thigh also. Im so glad I have found you.

Thank you Finney! It is so great to connect with people that can truely understand what you are dealing with. I only have 3 radiation treatments left from my 7 weeks total. Hugs.
