May 17, 2011—Radical Hysterectomy(DaVinci)surprise abdominal hernia repair

Recovered well from both. I developed a seroma behind my largest incision Memorial Day weekend and leaked like a faucet for 5 days. Sent from urgent care to ER. No infection, just an annoyance.

Hormone Therapy Description, Dates & Side Effects:

I am on Megestrol because of maligant cells in the pelvic washings at the time of surgery. This has me very confused!

Welcome Cookie. glad you decided to join. This site is an inspiration, a loving shoulder when you need it, encouragement and more. It has helped me thru and I think it will you too. I had the same surgery you did and I am doing great. Tho once you hear those words: “you have cancer” – you always carry a bit of fear. Even after they say your “cured”. Hope you stop feeling like a “marked woman” and think of yourself as a survivor! Positive thinking helps too. Sending you hugs and prayers. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
