Biography

I live in a small house on 20 acres with my husband Lars.
I have three lovely children; 2 boys and 1 girl. And I am blessed to have three beautiful grandchildren; two live only 30 minutes away, but the youngest lives in New York City.

I made a career change from Physical Education Instructor and Swimming Instructor to Home Health RN in my forties.

I am semi-retired, but work two days of the week (except summers) preceptoring UW nursing students in their community health rotation. Something I love, but may be forced to give up since my cancer has spread to several other parts of my body and is now stage 100; or so it seems. Wish me luck in fighting this terrible disease.
