Thanks for posting that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~When I was receiving Chemo I was taking a crazy dose of steriods, I would stay awake for 24 – 30 hours at a pop, until they would give me the IV benadryl, then I would crash and burn. The other horrifing side effect was the eating, my children would tell people to move their children, my daughter would joke I could eat a small child. Just so happy to have you posting.~~~~~~~~~
Thank you Teri for you support. Yipe steroids, what a double edge sword. The bad is really bad but the good this part of this drug is really needed. I laughed so hard about eating small children. We went out to eat yesterday and the waitress told me I could slap her for not bringing the ketchup until the 4th time I asked for it. I laughed and told her I’d been wanting someone to slap for days…..she scurried away.
Love and hugs to you. Cheryl~~~~~~~~
Teri,
Thank you for your kind words of support and for sharing your experiences and similarities.
Most of all, thank you for giving me hope.
Be well.
Thinking of you with warm thoughts and wishing good wishes for you.
Thanks for the personal comment. Yes, I am thinking about doing some kind of video for Maggie. A friend of mine lost her mom when she was 17 to cancer and I’ve talked to her a lot about what she wanted from her mom. The first thing she said was she wished she had a recording of her moms voice! Just to hear her mom’s voice would have helped her. So I am seriously looking into doing something. I’m just not good at speaking to a camera so need to figure out something.
Thanks for your kind words of support through out my time on this blog. You mean a lot to me.
They found it during my yearly breast MRI. It is in about the same place as my last tumor. So maybe reoccurring?? I haven’t actually spoken to my doctor yet. I should know, I think, on Tuesday. Wonder which is worse??
Thank you for wearing my name tag. You made me feel so specia when you said you wanted to that. I can’t wait to beat this cancer and become an inspiration for others.
Thank you for the kind words and prayers/
Love,
Sonia
