I instinctively knew something was wrong Surgery Description, Dates & Side EffectsDa Vinci Robotic radical hysterectomy with lymph node dissection 11/10/10. Had a complication (my colon was STUCK) to my uterus due to adhesions, and they had to cut my colon and repair it. I know how u feel! I had tickets to see U2 two nights ago, couldnt go.. :( sold it tho. I have a weeping small hole still! It just wont close, and am on 2nd lot of antibiotics, would this be causing the pain, i donno..Its right down the bottom of scar, bad area cos its in the fold of skin, due to my fat overhang…I`m going back to soc, just seems like it should have closed by now! Pain is when i have move bowels.. :( aweful! geting a phobia about going…am on stool softeners an all..
Hey Laurie – get the heck to that free vacation and use a wheelchair! Yep, pull the “cancer card” – lots of us use it for this stuff – heck, we should be able to get some benefits from it!
Thank you for the comments, fortunately i did not still have catheter in when i come home, u poor thing. Its been 10 days now, each day geting better. I just had the bandage or plaster whatever it is, taken off, i have a small hole leaking some ooze.. yukky. Doc put straight on antibiotics for it an will keep an eye on it. Waiting now for results from pathology from hospital now.. fingers crossed. My mum is still here doing everything for me :) Im lucky. Wishing u all the best with ur recovery.
