Biography

I am an (otherwise) healthy 53 year old wife and mother, working full time in purchasing for a chemical company. My youngest daughter just went off to college and her two older sisters are married and working. My husband is a shop teacher. I give glory to God in all things, including cancer!

Cancer Symptoms

I suddenly had severe abdominal pain and 103 fever. After a week of antibiotic treatment for suspected (never found) GI infection, an ultrasound revealed an 8 cm mass near the ovary. The mass was removed during a complete hysterectomy and found to be lymphoma. PET scan showed 6 other lymph node involvement including the bone. Once the mass was removed, I have had no other symptoms!

R-CHOP14 to start on September 13 for six cycles.
